Recap Of December...HO HO HO!

December went by in a flash, as it usually does. The good thing about it is I cut back my hours at work so I only worked one day a week, and had more time with my family.
We hitched up a trailer and some hay and went Christmas Caroling with Austins family and the Wayne Bradshaw family. It was so cold but it was a blast! A lot of the time we would be singing a song and forget the words but we laughed the entire night and that is the important thing right?

We had a Christmas party at Grammy's house before they went to Texas.
The girls opening some of their gifts from Grammy and the kids.
Grammy always does a stocking for each of the kids and her stockings put "Santa's" stocking to shame. You are awesome Mom, thanks for all the hard work and love you put into the gifts and stockings. We love you!
My cute sister Holly and her darling, little, sassy, princess Paige.

These next pictures are of a game we played...Holly bought those Jelly Bellies that some are the normal good flavor and some are a nasty flavor that looks just like the good flavor. We split into teams and a member of each team would pick a bean and eat it. Sometimes it was a good flavor but usually it was a nasty flavor like...barf, skunk, rotten egg, moldy cheese, centipede, etc. You got points if you chewed and swallowed the bean. Here are a few of my favorite pics!

And my favorite....Holly's husband Eric in mid gag from eating a nasty bean...priceless!
On the 23rd we went to the annual Greenville Christmas party. The big guy showed up in case anyone had any last minute requests.

Our tree Christmas morning! I love Christmas!!!

Austin also celebrated his 32nd birthday!!!! Happy Birthday Honey (6 mos. late)
We had a wonderful, cozy December thanks to our wood burning stove, good friends, and loving familys. It was good to be "home" for Christmas again.

Oh, Heidy, these recaps are wonderful! It makes me feel like we actually hung out those cold winter months (why we didn't see each other when we lived in the same state is BEYOND me!). You guys have the dreamiest "farm" life. Riding horses after school? Taking hay rides and singing carols? Cutting down your own Christmas tree? I want to live that way someday! Hope you are enjoying Atlanta. Love you lots.
