Sorry it has been a while since I posted but really there hasn't been anything to post about in my life at the moment. We had a really good Thanksgiving. All of the members from our branch that don't have family here got together. We all pitched in for the turky and then we all brough a side dish. It was really fun and super yummy. I think my favorite dish was my friend Shalynna's sweet potato cassarole. Usually not one of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes but wow hers was super yummy. It has been cool and rainy since Saturday. Which ruined our plans of going to the turtle farm:( for like the 3rd time now. I have also realized what a wimp I am now...it was probably 78-80 degrees today and breezy. I was outside reading while the girls were playing and I actually had to go in a get a blanket because I was cold. I know I know all of you Utah people feel so bad for me right now :)
Anyway, tonight we had a little get together at the church because one of our missionaries, Elder Robertson is going back to Jamaica. (We are in the Jamaica Kingston Mission) I am sad to see him go. We did have a fun little party tonight to send him off. There is a Philippine lady in our branch that is huge into Karaoke. She has this cool Karaoke microphone that has probably a thousand songs programed into it. After you sing your song it scores how well you did. Allie sang Jingle bells and got a 46. Then Austin sang Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead. He gave it his all and even sang in the munchkin voices. We all had a good laugh throughout his song. At the end we are all guessing a score of 80+ and his score is 11. It was a crushing disappointment to him. Some more people sang and then Kaity got the microphone and she pushed some numbers in and it was a Filipino song in Tagalic (the Philippine language) obviously she didn't know the language or even how to read so she just sang who knows what. When she finished her score was 42. The look on Austins face was pure shock. Then he tried to redeem himself and got a 52 on Row Row Row Your Boat. Which considering the song was another crushing disappointment. I sang The Leader of the Pack; and if any of you have had the privilege of hearing me sing you know that I am dang close to tone deaf. Half of the time I was singing Allie was trying to pull the microphone away from me and I was telling her to "stop and she would be able to have another turn when I was done". I ended up scoring a 76. Ha ha. Needless to say we did have a very good time. I really like our branch and have made some very good friends, which has helped the being away from all our friends and family. We miss you all and hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

What up family! I can totally see Austin upset and shocked about his and Allie's scores. That is funny. I love it. I miss you guys. Sorry I never called you back, I know I'm a loser. I love you guys.
That is funny, good work on Leader of the Pack. Oh and it has been record warmth here so don't worry about us freezing, you just continue to bundle up for your 70 degree freeze-out
I am SO SAD we missed it. You know how much I love karaoke! I bet it was a blast and I sure wish I could have seen the singing by your family- especially Katie's tagalog!
FROM KALEB: ha ha i love kaitey. we all miss you guys
