The end of Dance and Cheer

Allie and Kaity had their dance competition on Saturday. Allie danced so good as you can see in the video. Kaity on the other hand did not. She usually just waves and shows off, but at this on she found a feather on the floor and became preoccupied with it . She did attempt a few of the moves. It was pretty funny. They had a good day. Both of their groups got a superior. But when they are that small it is just cute to see them dance.

My 2 cheer groups also competed and they did an awesome job. Both received superior with very good marks and comments. My youngest group is age K-3rd grade. and my older group is 4th-8th. It was a fun but also stressful year. I am sad I won't be around to do it next year, but also glad it is over.

Monday was the last thing for the year. It was the big spring recital. Kaity decided to dance for this performance but she did have to stop a few times in the middle to wave at the audience.

Kaity is the one kneeling in the back rolling her arms. She is always a move or two behind the rest of the group. But that makes it really funny to watch.

Allie is a good little dancer but I think she would have enjoyed a tumbling class a little better. She does a really good job at following her teacher and doing the right steps.

They both got a metal and a carnation for doing such a good job this year.

Holy crap - McLane and I are laughing so hard right now and I am literally wiping tears from my eyes. I love when Kaity looks at the feather, points at you and then points at the feather telling you about it. I also love when she realizes she is supposed to be dancing and gets on the floor for a minute and then slowly rolls over - Oh my gosh - I can't handle it. They are so dang cute! Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow!
