Our First Good byes

On Friday May 2 we had to say our first good bye's to loved ones. Austins brother Reagan, his wife Corynn and their two cute little kids Drea and London moved to Virginia for the summer to work. They will be there until the end of Aug. and we move to Cayman around the first of Aug. so we had an early good bye. For about a month now every time I would think of them moving I would tear up. I had to say good bye three times that day. 1st to Austin and Reagan as they drove away, 2nd to Corynn and London a few hours later so I could watch Drea so Corynn could get more stuff done before she left, and 3rd to Drea when Nanny (Austins Mom) came to get him so he could take a nap at her house so I wouldn't wake him up when I left to go up to my mom's house for the weekend. It was a hard day, and to top it off I had a 2 hour drive up north to think. I think this was a hard good bye because 1. it is our first of many, and 2. Because of Austin and Reagan's school schedules we don't know when we will see them again. It could possibly be 4 to 5 years. I hope not though. Well we miss them a lot and wish them the best of luck this summer and beyond.

I was glad that Austin and Reagan got to spend 3 days together driving across the country. (Corynne flew with the kids a few days later) They had a good time together even though they were in a car most of the trip. They did get to stop in Kentucky to watch (in a sports bar) the Kentucky Derby. They even went to the horses hall of fame or what ever it was. Then when they got to Virginia they had a day before Austin flew home so they drove to Washington D.C. which is only about 30 min. from Reagans new place. They had a good time seeing all the political buildings and monuments.

I spent the weekend up at my moms house because I hate to be home alone. I had fun and got to go to Brick Oven with Hill, Suzy, Ashley, and Christy. It was good to see them and spend time with my family. It's hard for me to see my siblings grow up and I have hardly been there. I hate that I have missed out on so much of their lives so I love to visit and see them. Now we are all back home and life has resumed.

It was great to see you guys too. Tell your sweet little Allie that she can come play with me and Ammie any time, she is such a great little mother.
