Kaity's Birthday

I am just now getting around to blogging about Kaity's 5th Birthday. She had a good one. I didn't do a party for her this year because she had one last year. I am so grateful for some of our friends who shared this special day with us. Kaity got breakfast in bed from Allie and I. (we even put a candle in her pancake for her to blow out) When Austin got home we let her open her presents from us. She got 2 mermaids from mom and dad and a jar of green olives from Allie. She even made us write her name on the olives.
After we took Austin back to school and we headed to Dart Park to meet our friends the Wilson's. We got there a little early so the girls were posing for some pictures.
Kate and Porter were so nice to get not only Kaity a present but Allie one as well. Then the kids had a good time playing for about 3 hours, eating cupcakes, and feeding the chickens.

After the park I took the girls to a little store that they had a gift certificate to and let them each pick out a present. Kaity got 2 beanie baby kittens and Allie got a purse. At the store when we walked in there were 2 parrots in a cage and one of them talked. We had a fun time talking to the parrot. Then we headed to pick Austin up from school.
That night we let Kaity decide where she wanted to go and eat for her birthday. She decided that she wanted to go to Hammerheads for some fish and chips. Our friends Ish, Aline, Rita and Lyle met us there for dinner.

Kaity got spoiled with presents and Allie even got a pooh bear too.

We went home for some Banana Split Ice Cream Cake. It was yummy! It only took Kaity a few tries to blow out her candles. On the second try she got a little too close to the flames and it about burnt her hair.

It ended up being a great Birthday!

The olive obsession is too funny. I love that little girl.

Allie's hair is getting so long! It's gorgeous.

Whoa! That was a great Birthday. I really wanted to be there. But we'll celebrate #6 together next year. She is a big 5 year old. Not fair, she's growing so much. She and Allie are such awesome sisters. I'm glad Allie got a few presents as well. The weather looks so nice. Love Mom
