I am sorry this is so late. It was a very busy weekend and I am just now getting the chance to do a post. First, I want to wish Janice a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Saturday was Janice's birthday and we wish that we could have been there with her. I am so lucky and grateful to have such a wonderful mother-in -law. Janice is so caring and devoted to her family. There is no way I could have made it through Austin's cancer without the constant help she gave to us. She is a wonderful Grandma. She needs a bigger lap now because all the grand kids want to sit on "Nanny's" lap and there just isn't enough room. She has taught me so much and helped me be a better mother because of her wonderful example. I could go on and on about things that I love and admire about her. But, I have a lot to squish into this post so..."Nanny we love you so much and miss you, we hope you had a wonderful Birthday and are counting down the days until you come to visit. Thanks so much for all that you have done for us and given me, you raised a wonderful son and I am so grateful to be a part of your family. Love you Lots! "
Saturday we had a birthday party for Stihl, one of our friends little boy. It was lots of fun. I didn't get any pictures but the kids had a good time. After the party we had to rush to get ready for Austins White Coat Ceremony. It was really nice. They had it at a restaurant called Pappagallos. The atmosphere was very nice and tropical so that was cool. They had more people than they anticipated so they had to split up the seating and it made it a little hard to see. All in all it was a good day and I was so proud of Austin.
Here is Austin before the Ceremony started. They had some of his teachers speak, a thoracic cardiac surgeon speak, then hey presented the students with their white coats.
Here he is getting his Coat. They were doing through everyone so fast this is really the only picture I got of him actually getting his coat put on.

There he is...Austin C. Myers

After everyone got their coats they repeated the Hippocratic Oath.

They had a few more speakers and closing remarks and then they had reception.
Here are some pictures of some of Austins friends in his class. From left to right is Jeff Wilson (he is from Utah also and I always go hang out with his wife. They are such good friends and it is so nice to have them here), Luke, Austin, and I don't know the other guys name.

This is me and Kieren (Jeff's wife )
This is Scott and Bobby. They are really cool guys.

This is Pria, and Kushbu ( I know I killed the spelling of their names) they are such sweet girls. Of course Jeff and Austin again.

Here they are celebrating the occasion. Although they look a little tipsy the punch was non- alcoholic. hahaha

This is Dainna and her husband Russ. They are both professional pole vaulters and are taking some time off so Dainna can attend medical school. They are a really neat couple.

This is Luke and his darling little girl. I wish I could have gotten a picture of her face because she is so cute.

Congratulations Austin I am so proud of you for making it through your first year of school. Thanks for all the hard work you have put in. I love you.

The next day we had a birthday get together for Richard another friend of ours. They are going home as soon as the semester ends due to a family illness. We are so sad they are leaving. I just love Richards wife Angie and will miss her lots.

They also have 2 kids, Seth and Alyssa. Allie is going to be so sad that her friend Alyssa is leaving.
This beautiful sunset was a great close to a very busy but fun weekend.

That is a busy weekend! You look absolutely beautiful, by the way.
This is so cool! Tell Austin congrats from the Thompson's. Mother-in-law's have their place don't they. I love the absolute love they show for their sons and daughter-in-law's. We are so blessed.
Heidy you look Hot! Wish we could be there. Seriously not talking to or seeing you guys sucks! We love you guys! Reagan said to tell Austin he loves him and tell him congrats on his ceremony.
