I fully planned on doing a post about all the things that I loved and was going to miss about Cayman and a post about the things that I wont miss. We ended up being so busy the last few weeks I didn't have time. We spent as much time as we could on the beautiful beach, celebrated Austins 5 year remission, Allie's 7th birthday, and spent time with our wonderful friends that we now miss so much. Our years on Cayman were Fabulous and it is something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We learned and grew so much, not just individually but as a family as well. I look forward to the day when we can go back and visit our dear friends there.
We finally ate at this restaurant our last week there called Casinova. It is an Italian place right on the water. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. We went for Austin's 5 year remission and then Allie wanted to go there again for her birthday. They had a guy that played the harp and sang to the girls. They thought they were so special. It was so cute to see the girls faces when the guy was singing....they looked like it was Christmas morning. Then because it was A's birthday all the waiters come by with tambourines and sing Happy Birthday then do a little Italian singing thing. If you live in Cayman I highly recommend Casinova for your Birthday.

This was our last day on the beach. I think that is what I am going to miss the most. I have so many wonderful memories about playing on the beaches with my sweet girls.

A very close and maybe a tie with the beaches are our wonderful friends there. I tear up just thinking about all of them. They are what made living on the island so wonderful. They all became just like family and we miss them so much. I don't think there has been a day go by that we don't think of them and miss them. We love you all so much!!!
There is not much I am not going to miss about the island except maybe the high price of everything...and maybe the pot holes up in West Bay. We said good-bye to Rita and Lyle and Ish and Aline the first of April which was good to spread the good-byes out Most of our other friends we had to say good-bye the night before we left. It was hard but I don't think it really hit me until we had been back Utah that we weren't going back. We said Good-bye to our apartment and had our friend Denet and Wynn take us to the airport. Denet kept me busy talking so I didn't have time to cry the entire way there.
It has nice to come home and be with family again. We flew into Vegas and spent a few days with Austins sister then went home. We got Allie right in school. This is her on her first day of school. Doesn't she look cute but way to old?:(

She did so good the first few days then struggled a little bit wanting to stay home with Kaity and me. She soon got over it and I think liked school for the most part. She didn't like homework which she had a lot of the first few weeks. She did a little first Grade program at the school and then had a kite flying day. It was lots of fun. I loved seeing her up there singing songs.
I didn't like all the snow that we got clear into May!! I think the first day I had to scrape my windows I cried and seriously though about booking a ticket back to Cayman. I actually had a harder time adjusting to moving back to Utah then I did moving to Cayman. Weird, I know. I guess I was just meant to live on a slow paced beautiful Island:) My girls on the other hand LOVED the snow. I think Kaity had actually forgot what snow was like.

We also got the girls in T-ball this year. It was fun, and busy, but mostly fun. Kaity was on the Yellow Yankees and Allie was on the Green Sluggers.

I think the best part about being home for the girls is having Cousins to play with. We have been enjoying going up to my moms house and playing with my cute family. I wish that we could get up there more. I missed them so much and really love to be with them all.

When we are home the girls get upset if they don't see Amy's kids at least every other day. It is so fun watching them all play, they missed each other so much.
We are finally getting all settled in and almost have our yard work finished. Austin took is National Boards a few weeks ago and still wont have is score back for about a month. After he gets his score back we will know where we will be going for the next two (clinical) years of school. For about 5 weeks Austin studied and studied and took his national boards. For now I am just happy it's summer and get to spend it with my family.
