The last few Fridays the girls have been going to Sir Turtles Sea School. It is at the turtle farm and they love it. It is put on by the Department of Tourism to try to get more tourists during the slower season. The best part is...It is FREE! The girls love it and have had such a blast the last few weeks. I forgot my camera the first week but they have a photographer there that takes pictures and when they e-mail me them I will try to post a few. These photos are from Friday.
Here are the girls going in they couldn't wait to go and Allie had to bring her sea turtle backpack.
This is Jolly Roger the pirate, he helps keep the kids in line.

First, they take you over to the turtles and tell you all about them. Each week this is the same, so my girls will be experts on sea turtles by the time we are finished. I did get this cool shot of an iguana while the kids were listening to turtle facts.

Next, they get to hold the baby sea turtles...no matter how many times we have held them it is still cool.
Hanging out with the pirate.
TuRtLe FaCeS!
(I am not quite sure why they think those are turtle faces)
After we learn all about the turtles we go and have some lemon aid and chips. Then over to a building with A/C. Ahhh!
The first week they made some kites. This week they got to paint on some canvas. Kaity took her painting very seriously.
We all painted the beach, ocean, and sunset. I even got to paint and had a good time.
Last was the surprise guest...Sir Turtle
The girls got a Sea Adventurer Certificate and a goody bag. I am sure we will keep going each Friday until we either go home for a visit or the girls get sick of it...which ever comes first.

How freakin' sweet is that. I wish I could go to Sir Turtles.
What a fun Friday activity! I love how much the girls love animals. It's adorable. Maybe one of these Fridays I'll have to come with you guys while waiting for David to get out of work or something.
Your girls will always remember the fun activities from Cayman. You are creating memories that will last forever!
How fun! They will never forget this stuff!
How cool Heidy! What ya keeping it a secret for. I would love to bring my girls. Is there an age minimum? Glad you guys are finding such fun things to do together! Talk to you soon.
