Beach Baby's

A few weeks ago I took the girls to the beach and to try to incorporate some schooling in (because we had skipped it that day) I told the girls to write some words in the sand.
Kaity did a pretty good job on her name...but if you look close the Y is upside down.

Allie wouldn't do any words for me , but she did do some hearts.

I had to include this last picture just because it was so dang funny....

On Saturday I had to get the girls out of the house so Austin could study for exams. I took the girls to the beach because it was such a hot day. We floated out in the beautiful blue ocean for a few hours and had a wonderful day of make believe. I was on my air mat and the girls were on some tubes that a friend had given us. We pretended we were princess' that had escaped from an evil witch. We were stranded out in the stormy sea waiting for our prince charming's to come and rescue us. We each had powers and could defeat the evil Witch if we combined them together. Then we made friends with the dolphins and they helped pull us into a nearby island where we made a home (aka sandcastle) It was so fun to just play pretend with my girls and have nothing else to do. I love the stage my girls are at right now and I wish I could freeze them and keep them this age forever.

Oh, princess Heidy! How fun! I know exactly what you mean about "freezing" your kids. I even like to freeze my baby. She is growing WAY to fast!

That sounds just like a game we would have played when we were little, only with better scenery:)

Fun game! You painted such a pretty picture. It made me wish that I was playing princess make believe with you. Some girls have all the fun! You're an excellent mommy,by the way. Keep splashing. Her backward y wasn't as bad as your complete backward spelling of "Heidy" when you were her age. Remember? That picture was funny. It made me laugh out loud! I'm so embarrassed for her! They are so tan! What a life experience! Love, Mom/Grammy/Lynn
