Kaity's Birtyday party

I am a little late on doing a post about Kaity's actual birthday. I guess it's better late than never, right? Our friends the Wilson's invited us to go to lunch to celebrate the end of the first tests for the semester. We also celebrated Kaity's Birthday. She wanted fries for lunch. Really healthy I know.
After lunch there was a little park outside of the restaurant so we let the kids play for a little bit. Later that day the girls helped me make her a birthday cake.

She had to practice blowing out the candles, however when the actual time came to blow them out I think it took her about 5 times to actually get them all out.

Saturday the 7th we had a little birthday party for her with her friends at the park. It was great weather but windy. I had a bunch of games planned with balloons but the wind sort of messed that all up.

Luckily, I was able to fill the balloons up with water and we just did games with water balloons instead
I think I had just as much fun with them as the kids did.
Boys!?*#! hahaha

Then we had cupcakes and juice.
After that we had to follow Dora's map to find the pirate piggies treasure. The kids loved this part of the party. I didn't get any pictures of it but it was lots of fun. (The treasure was the kids party bags)

Then we opened presents and finished off all the rest of the cupcakes and snacks.
Kaity had a great Party. I was exhausted by the end of it but it I am glad all the kids had a good time. Thanks so much to all her friends who came.

What a fun birthday! I miss birthday parties and water balloon fights...I just miss being a kid. I guess the great part of being a mom is that you get some of your "kidness" back. HA HA... I totally made that word up.

I miss you! I hope that everything is going well. Say hello to your family for me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAITY!

FROM:Grammy or Mom
Thank you for sharing your BDay pictures Kaity! Grammy loved the one with your blue hat making the cake and licking the beaters. Your mommy liked doing that part too. Can't believe the palm trees! The balloons reminded me of an easter egg hunt! Looks like you loved the pink pony and stuffed kitty. Tell Allie "Hi".
